Gordon Kennedy

"From the time I played my first songwriter gig, and for years, I used to think how great it would be to mic my left foot because of how I always stomped out a beat. I wished it was part of my sound.

At some point I discovered that there was such a thing as “the porch board” and sought one out. The one I tried first worked pretty well…when it worked. I had to buy four over time because they were very fragile and would break, which isn’t good when considering it should be made to withstand life under one’s foot.

Fast forward to a concert I did at a church which introduced me to The Floyd Sole Stomp. It sounds amazing! In fact, it takes me back to my desire to have the sound of my foot on the floor. Not “techno” or kick drum-like, but rather more natural. Well built too…it will outlast me and my left foot. Thanks, Cynthia!"

Liza Bates

"The Floyd Sole Stomp is exactly what I had been searching for. For years, I wanted a way to capture that floor-stomping effect that would sometimes come up through the microphone during live performances. I needed a solution that would allow me to naturally tap out a beat while standing on a flat surface — something that felt comfortable and effortless.
This product delivers exactly that, and more. The ability to EQ it to match whatever tone I need is a game changer. Personally, I was after that deep, low-end kick drum sound, and the Floyd Sole Stomp has more than delivered. It has added so much energy into my band's live shows, bringing a level of excitement to the room that we just didn’t have before. It's become an essential part of our setup, and I couldn’t be happier with the results!

Blake English

"As a professional musician, finding the right gear that delivers both sound quality and reliability is essential. The Floyd Sole Stomp has become my ‘drummer in a box’ for every live performance.

With my own signature LS series crafted from cedar, this stomp box looks as incredible as it sounds—rich, full, and punchy, it’s everything I need for a solid beat.

Cynthia Floyd’s stomp boxes are hands down the best on the market, producing a sound that rivals a kick drum. You don’t need to be a drummer to use them; if you can tap your foot, you’re in for a game-changing experience."
